A few weeks back, decided to purchase Microsoft Office 2019 Standard over Office 365 for use in the office, however downloading of the ISO is no longer possible at Microsoft’s Volume Licensing portal. <\/p>\n\n\n

Microsoft does have a link to guide the IT Pros https:\/\/docs.microsoft.com\/en-us\/deployoffice\/office2019\/deploy<\/a> You will need to download the Office Deployment Tool and it will extract a setup.exe file as well as an XML files for your use.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The sample XML file isn’t complete for Office 2019 Standard, it will download the files when command “setup \/download configuration.xml” is used<\/p>\n

However it will not be able to install, hangs at Office is being installed (2%) when the command “setup \/configure configuration.xml” is used.<\/p>\n\n\n

After a few attempts, managed to find the following website which can generate the required configuration.xml file for Office Standard 2019. The Website is https:\/\/hung1001.github.io\/deployment\/office-2019<\/a> \nMost steps should be self explanatory, all you need to do is to select your office 2019 and then generate the text for your xml file.
